Sites and headcount

We stopped arguing about who was at Gate East at 06:00. The record already says it, with the location and the device.

Operations manager, Harbourline (EXAMPLE)

Before Clockline

Harbourline ran attendance on paper sign-in sheets at three cross-dock gates. Clockline replaced the sheets with rotating QR at each gate and a single manager queue.

Every correction was typed by hand into the payroll spreadsheet at month end, and nobody could say which version of a timesheet was the final one.

What changed

Each check-in now carries five pieces of evidence: time, location, device, QR token and an optional selfie. A record with all five goes straight to the manager. A record with a missing check lands in the exception queue with the reason attached.

Result

−41% manual timesheet corrections per month. Figures in this story are example data for the template.
